Standard How's My Driving? post for Izanami [Izanami-no-Okami/Izanami-no-Mikoto]. Comments, critiques, nit-picks are all fine. Like my characterization or something that was done? You can leave that here too. Also, if there's anything you think I should notice for her regarding her personality, character, or her history, please let me know as well. I usually do better with constructive criticism, rather than flat out flaming. :>

I think you might be taking advantage of the all-powerful-goddess thing a bit too much. She was a lot more subtle in her dealings with mortals in the game than how you've been having her interact with them-- she's willing to set something up to make them compete against themselves rather than just doing something immediate to them to prove her power. (Besides, she's one of the most major goddesses in the pantheon-- she doesn't really need to prove herself, right?) One of the things that made her satisfying in the game is the fact that humanity could take her on, but I don't really see that in the plots you've been doing with her-- she's just all-powerful. I think if you toned that down she'd be perfect, I really think her voice is spot-on-- it's just her actions that seem off to me.

Thank you so much for the crit, anon. I've been worried about that for a while. I think one of the difficult things I keep forgetting about her is how she plays more "behind the scenes" rather than upfront. I guess you could blame me wanting to have her participate more often in things such as Eris' plot and the like. I've had a feeling her actions have been getting a bit OOC because of the whole past virus and everything else happening at once, so that's my fault there. Angry goddess still has good intentions.

So, when I post with her, I'll be sure to think about how she would react given this situation, rather than just wanting her to get involved. I'm trying to think of how to combine both headcanon (which is mainly mythological things) and P4 post-canon, and sometimes things can get tricky. Still, I appreciate you coming to me to tell me what I should work on, it helps a lot and I just want to play her the best I can.

You need to get Izanami back on the comms. Now. :DD

Anywho, here's the nitpick: Small text because this isn't too important.
I have but two criticisms for you, but this probably is just because of how two people can view the same character differently. *breathes, because doesn't wish to discourage in any way*
1. Izanami seems too playful (and sometimes flirtatious) at times. Not that she can't be. It's just that she was mostly :| and :\ and >:| and >:( with :) and >:) and }:) loosely spread about.
2. Although she was defeated, she was a graceful loser. If anything, she should be rather, uh, neutral (at the most benevolent) now. She's seemed to have regressed some of her past interactions with the IT on the comm. If post-game Izanami really views her continued shadow plots as experiments, then it would be in her best interest to take care of her subjects until the end, if only to use them again in the future.

And here's my praise:

You have her practically pinned down to a T, and characterize her dynamic love/hate relationship with her husband and humanity so well. How you write her going about discovering and researching life through the others members of the comm is amazing (particularly, not using the 'anon' tag as something to hide behind, but using the tag as something to let others reply freely). You test both her curiosity and delusions and by doing so you gradually developed her. How she justifies the creation of shadows and facing oneself despite fear to be a good thing is totally convincing. You write Izanami as a goddess as well as a mother and a woman, something the last two aspects of her many other rps forget.
You're completely talented, and it's wonderful to see her posts (as creeper-character or not). You play the god-mode very well and you never, ever abuse her power or write her abusing her power as a goddess. She comes off quite noble.

Don't stop being fabulous.~

No, seriously anon, I meant to reply to this forever ago but I totally suck and didn't. XD Many many many apologies for that.

I adore your critique, truly. I'm glad someone's able to point out things, because despite me having played her for a year, to notice something that needs to be tweaked or looked at means a lot! I am so thankful and totally utterly flattered by this entire comment, I don't know what else to say other than thank you from the bottom of my heart. (It sounds cheesy, I know, but just go with me on this <3) I really appreciate and am startled and completely awestruck someone follows my Izanami and enjoys her you have no idea how much this brightened my week holy crap. I guess it's just my insecurity overall at playing such a... not-played much character? If that makes any sense. XD; I tend to think those who play popular characters are followed around more than the secondary and lower/unheard of ones. So it's nice to see praise.
